This opportunity takes place between 22 Oct 2019 and 30 Sep 2020.

Littlemore Recovery Group comprises a small shop and café in the grounds of Littlemore Mental Health Centre which serves patients, staff and the local community. Our members are primarily forensic patients who live at the Mental Health Centre and who wish to develop their skills in catering, customer service and team work as part of their recovery from severe and/or enduring mental health problems. Volunteers at Littlemore Recovery Group will work alongside members in varied activities in the shop and café, helping to build their confidence as they move towards paid or voluntary work in the community. This might include supporting members with activities such as baking and cooking, serving customers, till work, cleaning and administrative tasks. Time commitment: We ask for at least one day a week between 9am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday.
