Bystander Intervention For Clubs, Societies and Committees

Tue 12 November 2019 17:30-19:00, St John's College Auditorium

This training is an opportunity for you to equip yourself with some skills which you can use to proactively engage with and challenge difficult behaviours as you see them. It is especially useful if you are a sports or society leader, welfare officer, peer supporter, or entz/ a bop angel. In these positions you may come across situations where you can help others as an active bystander, in your college and the wider university.

Accessibility:

The training will be in the Garden Quad Auditorium at St John's. The Auditorium is located in the Garden Quad and it provides wheelchair access to both the stage and the stalls within the theatre. Seating can be removed to provide a range of different seating layouts to enable wheelchairs to be positioned in different parts of the theatre. There are also ramps, a platform lift, a hearing loop and an accessible toilet.
