Candidate Academy: Graduate Representation: Understanding your Graduate Voter and their Priorities

Tue 25 January 2022 12:00-14:00, Online

Did you know that in the last few years the number of postgraduate students has grown steadily to overtake the number of undergraduates? Graduates thus currently constitute more than half the University student population.

There are also more than eleven types of course levels for graduates.

While UG students stay up to three to six years, PG students have been known to stay for up to 10-20 years

Finally, your average graduate student is also allowed to vote for ALL positions not just VP Graduates.

This is thus an opportunity for you to understand who your typical graduate student is, how to represent them adequately and what your manifesto and research should potentially reflect to garner their massive vote.

This workshop is aimed towards understanding the diversity and concerns of Oxford University graduate students.
