Get tested, win prizes: Everything you need to know about the SU's testing prize draw

Did you know you could win a prize just for doing your twice-weekly Lateral Flow Tests (LFTs) Oxford SU are running a prize draw for loads of vouchers from local businesses. Prizes include £50 vouchers from a number of local businesses, including the Missing Bean, Ultimate Picture Palace, Jam Factory, Ashmolean Afternoon Tea for two and many, many more!

All you have to do is take an LFD test twice a week and report your results to the EAS, then fill in the form within your confirmation email each time you report to enter the draw!

How it works:

  1. Pick up an LFT testing kit from your college or a University LFD Collect point.
  2. Complete your test as instructed by the kit.
  3. Log all your results, positive, negative and void to the EAS and NHS.
  4. Once you've reported the result to EAS, you'll be able to enter the draw via your confirmation email.

At Oxford SU we wanted to help support the testing effort and encourage student to get tested with our prizes programme. We’ve handpicked local businesses we know student love and we wanted to support these businesses by promoting them to the student community.

Why is symptom-free testing important and how does it all work?

If you’re a student living in Oxford this term, the university and government strongly encourage you to do regular testing through use of the Lateral Flow Devices, which can detect whether or not you have Covid 19 before you develop symptoms.

It is an important tool in helping to stop the spread of COVID-19, and the new variant Omicron and will help to protect the community.
