Male Mental Health

Who's making it happen

Description

Engagement from male students with university welfare services is proportionally low.

There is still a stigma around men talking openly around about mental health.

Suicide is the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the country.

The SU is commited to waking welfare as accessible as possible to all.

We will be running a campaign to encourage male students to open up more about mental wellbeing and seek support when offered.

The campaign will begin with a launch event on 7th November.
