Freshers Fair

Freshers' Fair is the biggest event of the term. Packed with stalls promoting the best aspects of Oxford’s student life, it really is not to be missed. For new students, it's the best way to kickstart your university years by getting involved in the huge range of student activities we offer.

Each year the Fair gets bigger and better than ever, with hundreds of club and society stalls offering memberships, external companies advertising their services, and commercial outlets giving away more freebies than you could possibly carry! Plus, the University and Students’ Union will be there to show you what we can offer during your time as a student and beyond.

Your Students' Union

We’re called the Students’ Union because that’s what we are; a union of students. It’s the issues that matter to you that drive us. Here you can feel assured that your views count, your voice is strong, and together we’ll use them to make your student life even better!

Your students' union is the representative body for all University of Oxford students and our direction and ideas are led by our student members.

Clubs & Societies

A great way to see what’s out there is to attend the Oxford SU Freshers’ Fair on 9th & 10th  October. At the Fair, clubs and societies have representatives ready to talk about their activity, and often sign-ups to participate or for auditions/tryouts etc. There is something for everyone, from Quidditch to Life Drawing, and it doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or advanced.
