The Oxford University Swiss Society (OUSS) is a society of Swiss and international students at the University of Oxford, founded in 2016. One of our main goals is to represent Switzerland in Oxford, to provide a platform for exchange and to pass on our Swiss culture to interested students. As one of the most active societies in Oxford we organize numerous cultural-political and social events, such as fondue evenings, wine and cheese apéros and chocolate tastings. Previous guests for our discussions included the Swiss head of the Federal Department of Home Affairs, Alain Berset, the previous Swiss ambassador in London, Alexandre Fasel, and the well-known Swiss author, Lukas Bärfuss.
