We are a student-led global health think tank, giving students from top universities the opportunity to engage in research and policy making. Our teams work with academics, policy makers and NGOs to conduct research on global health issues and suggest relevant policy improvements. We have a wide-ranging portfolio, with topics including women and migrant health, eHealth, mental health, neglected tropical diseases, obesity and diabetes.

Our mission:

  • To deliver high-quality research. Each of our 20 research teams is led by at least one postgraduate editor with considerable experience, and brings together students from a variety of subject backgrounds to ensure a diverse range of insights.
  • To act as a springboard to foster the next generation of public health leaders. We provide an unparalleled platform for students to hone their research skills and engage with global health issues, offering our researchers training sessions as well as the chance to present their work at our annual conference.

Applications for committee positions open in December, and for our research teams in January. Most of our research is conducted over the Easter and Long Vacs, and presented at our annual conference in November.
