"Oxford Nightline is an independent listening and support service run by and for students of Oxford and Oxford Brookes Universities. We aim to provide every student in Oxford with the opportunity to talk to someone in confidence; no issue is too big or small. We also provide an information service and a get home safe service. We are open 8pm-8am from weeks 0 to 9 of each Oxford University term. You can speak to us by calling (0)1865 270 270, skyping oxfordnightline, or using instant messaging on our website oxford.nightline.ac.uk. If you would like to help, we are always keen to find new listening and publicity volunteers. As a listening volunteer, you could be the person on the other side of the phone, speaking to the students who call us. To become a listening volunteer you should first attend our training, which usually runs once a term for three weeks. Publicity volunteers help spread the word about our service by attending public-facing events, helping manage our publicity campaigns, and designing new publicity materials.
