Oxford Society for Commercial Law (OSCOLA)

The Oxford Society for Commercial Law (OSCOLA) is Oxford’s premier student-run society dedicated to the promotion of commercial law and development of students to thrive as lawyers of the future. By adopting a developmental focus, OSCOLA provides opportunities for students to not only learn more about the legal industry and a career in commercial law but also actively grow and develop to become compelling candidates for law firms and barrister chambers. OSCOLA organises skills training workshops and masterclasses with top law firms in the City, organises competitions such as moots, and runs programmes such as mentorship and buddy schemes for our members. Dedicated to promoting access to commercial law, OSCOLA membership is free and open to current students of all degrees at the University of Oxford.
