About Me

I am a Liberian MPP candidate at the Blavatnik School of Government and Pembroke College.

I am running for Oxford Student Union Presidency as a symbol of thousands of students that are demanding a representational Student Government. I intend to directly shape my campaign by allowing students to design the Oxford that works for them.

Putting Student Voices First at Oxford Is A Mission.

On Saturday, February 4th, I am launching a Town Hall to enable students to take a crucial step in conversing about the Oxford we all want at 10:30 am. Venue: 120 Walton St, Oxford OX2 6GG. This manifesto visibility of leadership to over 24,000 students that want a participatory leadership.

Leadership Track

I intend to leverage my diverse experience leaping from a grassroot activist, congressional intern to being a student leader and working as a global changemaker on complex issues. Some highlights of my work include:

During the Ebola outbreak, I documented the violations of 785 orphaned and neglected children, earning an invite in 2016 to speak at the United Nations World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul.

I am a Diana Award Recipient, a College of Mount Saint Vincent’s Frédéric Ozanam Award and Vincent DePaul Award for contributions to students' consciousness and systemic change. In June this year, I was named as one of eight ‘Young Pacesetters for African Development’ by the African Renaissance and Diaspora Network, awarded during the Africa Day celebration at the United Nations Trustee Chambers.  I am also an Obama Foundation Community Leadership Training Alumni.

2.     We will Advocate for an increase in diverse mental health professionals to meet student’s needs and demands.

3.     We will aim to empower the JCR, MCR and Common Rooms to increase diversification of mental health programs and save conversations

Combating Racism and Discrimination Should Be Student Inclusive

1. Our effort to combat racism will demand an inclusive student body. We will empower our clubs and societies, common room MCR AND JCR leadership to create a holistic anti racism toolkit and training guideline.

2 We will expand transparent reporting on racism and all forms of discrimination communicating our progress and setting meaningful targets.
