AerOx has its main objectives being the support, development and promotion of aeronautical knowledge, both theoretical and practical, through activities and events in the University of Oxford. Organising social events and trips to aeronautical-related facilities are also within the objectives of AerOx.
- Theoretical: Theoretical: Specialists from a variety of aeronautical fields will be invited to give talks and presentations to inspire Oxford students with their professional experience and expertise.
- Practical: Special workshops will be organised to have a real hands-on experience building up an aircraft or flying model under the guidance of Professors and DPhil students from several Departments of the University of Oxford (Engineering Science, Materials, Physics…)
- Social: Trips to air shows and visits to aeronautical and research companies will be arranged in order to provide the society members with a better insight of the aeronautical industry.
