Oxford University Music Society has been the home of music making in Oxford since 1872. We are the umbrella organisation for eight unique ensembles, including three orchestras, two wind ensembles, a brass band and a uni-wide chorus. We also provide numerous opportunities for journalists, composers and conductors. Alongside affiliations with other music societies in Oxford to link up funk, folk and opera, as of October 2023, we will officially offer a non-auditioning ensemble for every instrumentalist and vocalist. If you want to be involved with music at Oxford, you will be welcomed with open arms - no strings attached.
