The Mirzakhani Society is the society for women and nonbinary students studying Maths at the University of Oxford. Although female and nonbinary mathematicians are in the minority, we have a great support network and welcoming community! Events we've done in the past include weekly Sip&Solves, where you can chat, snack, and work on problem sheets with other students, talks led by our industry sponsors like Cisco, joint dinners and professional panels with Mathematrix (our graduate equivalent), and maths crafts sessions!
