Student feedback forms the foundation of Oxford SU's new strategy. Our purpose is to represent all students to the University, making sure that your voices are heard. To achieve this, we have listened to your experiences and insights during transformation, which have informed our strategic plan. Thank you for shaping our transformation so far. We will continue to centre your voices throughout the journey ahead.
Your feedback has guided every step we have taken. Below is a summary of the work we have accomplished since 2024 to make sure that Oxford SU is equipped to represent students.
We've changed the way democracy works at Oxford, based on students' feedback. This includes the introduction of Conference of Common Rooms, which brings together Sabbatical Officers, Junior Common Room Presidents and Middle Common Room Presidents in one policy-making space.
This CCR Guide outlines how we're implementing our Conference of Common Rooms pilot.

Based on Oxford students' feedback, we revised our Sabbatical Officer roles and structure to improve how we represent students to the University.
Our new Part-Time Officer roles are designed to better represent the needs of our student body.
Our policy associates are Oxford students who undertake research which informs the way Oxford SU represents students to the University.
Our Articles of Association and Bye Laws are the main governing documents of the SU. These were reviewed and updated with Oxford students as partners in the process.
These Transformation Committee Minutes cover the work carried out during our transformation.
Students participated in an All Student Meetings to ensure their voices were heard throughout the SU's transformation process.
