Due to low numbers of candidates, nominations will be extended by 1 week until 9am Friday 16th of May. Candidate briefing will also be moved to Friday 16th of May.

Due to insufficient candidates, DRO & RO have decided not to run part-time officer elections at this time. These will be postponed until Michaelmas Term 2025. Student Trustee elections will continue as normal.

Candidate Briefing:
Candidates who did not attend the briefing will be subject to active campaign ban until such a time as they complete the briefing.
A concern was raised regarding the inclusion of candidates in the promotional material for these elections. The DRO team have met with the SU Communications Manager who has provided the following context and mitigations: All current student and sabbatical trustees were approached to be involved in the marketing materials for these elections, only 1 was available. All were informed that any student or sabbatical trustee that would be running in the student trustee elections could not appear in any student trustee specific marketing material and this has been carefully managed. These decisions were discussed and documented contemporaneously. Voting marketing material will not promote any particular candidate.
