Hi everyone! My name is Aleeza and I am a MSc student reading for Clinical & Therapeutic Neuroscience. As the Medical Sciences Division Rep, I aim to ensure every student’s voice is heard and valued. For me, student representation involves listening and collaborating with the student body to create an environment where all students can thrive and succeed. 

I have extensive previous leadership experience as a representative for the Human Biology Student Union and working as a mentor for junior students, through which I have honed my skills in listening, advocating, and supporting students through their academic and personal journeys – skills that will serve me well in this role. 

As your Division Rep, your voice is my priority. I will work on regularly creating inclusive spaces for students to share their experiences and provide feedback, in various forms. This could include in person sessions, and anonymous feedback forums, ensuring no voice goes unheard. Moreover, I will ensure that all decision making processes are transparent, and students are regularly informed, consulted, and actively engaged.  

If elected, I will dedicate myself to representing your interests and working hard to ensure that all students are represented and supported, focusing on inclusivity, equity, and accessibility.
