Before You Nominate 

You can only hold one elected role at a time, so think carefully about which position best aligns with your experience, interests, and the change you’d like to make.

Nominations will formally open on January 16th 2026, and close on January 29th 2026. 

 

Open to All Oxford Students 

Any Oxford University student can nominate themselves for: 

  • Student Trustee 
  • Community Officer 
  • President for Welfare, Equity & Inclusion 
  • President for Communities & Common Rooms 

 

Undergraduate-Only Role 

Only undergraduate students may stand for this role.

  • President for Undergraduates 

Postgraduate-Only Role 

Only postgraduate students may stand for this role.

  • President for Postgraduates 

Equity Officer Roles 

Any Oxford University student who self-identifies as part of the community they aim to represent can nominate themselves for an Equity Officer position. 

For example:

  • You should self-identify as LGBT+ to nominate yourself for LGBT+ Officer.
