Once voting has closed and any complaints are resolved, the results will be counted. As we use a Single Transferable Vote system, if there is no clear winner, multiple rounds of counting are often required to redistribute the votes.
Results are expected to be announced the day after voting closes, Friday 13th February 2026, at a special election event.
