Want to help shape the student experience across Oxford?
This Michaelmas Term we’re recruiting our next cohort of Divisional Representatives with Oxford SU
Fill in the application form by 17th October (23:59 PM) and get in touch with us any time at studentengagement@oxfordsu.ox.ac.uk! For detailed information about the role, go through the Divisional Rep Handbook!
Why become a Div Rep?
Being a student rep puts you at the heart of how Oxford works. You’ll sit in meetings where real decisions get made about your course, your division, and the wider university experience.
Make real changes: Previous Div Reps have influenced big wins like the removal of the Graduate Application Fee, and continue pushing for improvements to teaching, assessment, and student support.
Develop valuable skills: You’ll learn how to analyse policies, run effective meetings, negotiate with senior academics, and present to university committees. These aren’t just CV boosters, they’ll stay with you for life.
Understand Oxford from the inside: Few students get to see how decisions really happen. As a rep, you’ll get insight into the structures, people, and policies that shape education here.
Build connections: Work alongside fellow students, academics, and senior administrators, creating networks that last beyond your Oxford degree.
