About me
What did you study/are you studying at Oxford?
I completed my first Master’s in Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government, Pembroke College. I recently completed a second Master’s in Comparative and International Education at Somerville College.
What are you most excited about for the next year as a Sabb?
I’m especially excited to represent postgraduate students on the University’s senior committees, amplifying their voices, shaping policies, and ensuring their experiences inform decisions at the highest levels.
What has surprised you most so far?
The passion and dedication of students and staff working to make Oxford a more inclusive, accountable, and student-driven institution.
Why do you think representation is so important at Oxford specifically?
Because Oxford isn’t just a university. It is a global thought leader. Having diverse student representation ensures that decisions reflect the realities of the wider community, not just the privileged few.
Favourite place/thing to do in Oxford?
Long reflective walks through Oxford’s historic streets and of course, getting lost intentionally in the library stacks.
Tell us a fun fact about you.
I once served as the National Flag Day Orator in my home country, Liberia, a prestigious national honour usually reserved for senior statespeople.
