VOTE ANAS DAYEH FOR NUS DELEGATE

• AS AN OXFORD NUS DELEGATE FOR 2022

1. Organised:          

Successfully brought together a network of student activists from throughout the UK to advocate for change within the NUS.

2. Action: Called out the NUS's lack of action on antisemitism, as well as addressing failures within Oxford SU

3. Commitment: Fulfilled all responsibilities as an NUS delegate, and submitting a comprehensive written report to the student council on the proceedings of the 2022

THIS YEAR, I WILL:

1. Innovation               

- Led the efforts of Oxford SU in officially submitting a motion to the NUS, calling for increased investment in educational technology and greater access to it.

2. Accountability              

- Fight to ensure the NUS follows through on the recommendations outlined in the report, promoting transparency and responsible governance.

3. Change

- Discuss with other delegates the future of NUS, and how to get it representing all the student body.
