Are you interested in volunteering within a friendly, supportive student network? Do you want to gain valuable skills in listening, teamwork and communication?
Nightline is a confidential listening and support service, run by students, for students. We operate every night of term time and are always in need of new volunteers! That’s why we will be hosting a volunteer taster session as part of the Oxford SU’s Refresher’s week, so you can learn more about Nightline and the work we do.
Our taster session will give you a glimpse of what being a call-taking volunteer involves. We will explain how Nightline works, answer any questions you have and demonstrate how we support our callers through listening.
There will also be an introduction to the other branch of Nightline volunteering: The Nightline Publicity Team. If you’re creative, organised, good at management and working with others then a role on our publicity team may be for you! We are looking for dedicated, focused people to help run publicity events, create promotional material and spread awareness of Nightline.
