We’re really excited to share that the Foundry has launched an exciting new OXFO Entrepreneurial Fellowship initiative. The deadline for applications is 14 May 2021. The Fellowships aim to help more students from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic backgrounds reach senior leadership positions within business, start-ups and venture capital. As one of 20 OXFO Entrepreneurial Fellows, they will receive a funded eight-week Fellowship (July-Aug 2021) which includes: • Online placement with an exciting start-up in the Oxford Foundry’s portfolio. The start-ups’ sectors include climate change, healthcare, financial inclusion and cybersecurity and working with them is a real opportunity to make a difference • 1-to-1 leadership coaching and mentorship from more than 60 leading professionals in the Fellowships’ Ambassador and Mentor network including Biz Stone (Co-founder of Twitter), Ric Lewis (Executive Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Tristan Capital), Baroness Shriti Vadera (Chair of Prudential plc), Dr Acha Leke (Chairman of McKinsey’s Africa region), and Angela Ahrendts DBE (former Senior Vice President of Apple Retail and former CEO of Burberry) • Opportunity to build in-demand skills and gain experience in areas including; business analysis, marketing, sales and business development, product development, finance, creative thinking, complex problem-solving, resilience, and leadership – skills in high demand from all employers • Opportunity to be part of a supportive community and cohort of peers, and much, much more.
