Paid Event:
Intricate detail, intense colour and complex forms were all things the Pre-Raphaelites loved. Explore this form of analytical, realist representation by working from direct observation, and learn about fine brushwork using oils wet into wet.
Materials that you will preferably need for this workshop include:
Thick non-textured paper
Oil paints
Solvent
Tissue for cleaning brushes
A selection of very fine brushes
A rose bud or two as subject reference
The event will take place online on Zoom and a link to join the event will be shared in advance by email.
