Event Description

DPhil Welcome Event with Bodleian Libraries

Tue 30 November 2021 18:00-20:00, Blackwell Hall, Weston Library

**THIS EVENT HAS SOLD OUT. Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, this event sold out in 15 minutes!**

Bodleian Libraries and Oxford SU are hosting a welcome event exclusively for DPhil students.

Join us for a night of drinks at the fancy Bodleian Weston hall to welcome you (back) and introduce you to your one constant on your DPhil journey - the centralised library!

This event will be free, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages on offer, as well as exhibitions and activities from the Bodleian.
If you can mark the page as going or maybe - we will have a good idea for numbers and catering: https://fb.me/e/7WtQZsjSW

This event is to help you interact with fellow DPhils, SU and the Bodleian - not a bad combo!?

COME JOIN US FOR A NIGHT OF DRINKS AND THE BODLEIAN!

We request you to not attend the event if you are showing any covid symptoms. Please do an LFT on the day of the event. It is essential to be mindful in larger events.

Face covering is RECOMMENDED.

FOR ENTRY

Your Bod cards will be checked at the entrance against your name on the guest list. We need to check your bod card to verify your DPhil Status. Events for other graduates will happen soon!

IF YOU CANNOT MAKE IT TO THE EVENT

If you cannot make it to the event and want someone else to use your ticket instead, send them an email from your University ID granting them said permission. They just need to show us your email, we can then cross check this with our guest list and the fact that they are a DPhil student.

This process will have to be managed by you and NOT the SU or the Bodleian.

"No-shows" will be noted for future events and may lead to blocking of booking privileges for future. Our reason for being this strict is because the ticket number is capped and we want as many students as possible to be able to access the event. Please be considerate of others and yourself therefore.
