The Dafydd ap Gwilym Society is dedicated to promote the Welsh language and culture at Oxford University. It also serves as a space for Welsh students to get together, socialize and interact through different formal and informal social events. The society was founded in 1886, making us the second oldest society at Oxford after the Oxford Union! We take our name from the famous Welsh poet, Dafydd ap Gwilym.
