The SU is launching a writing competition in partnership with the Weston Library, specially for SU Arts Week. Under the theme of ‘Your Choices: Community and Identity’, the competition will be judged by a selected editorial team of students and a special external guest judge. The winning submissions will go into a publication which will be on the Weston Library's Space for reading shelf (which is under the same theme is always looking for recommendations - email publicengagement@bodleian.ox.ac.uk. if you have any!). In honour of the publication, there will be a launch event on the 29th April, in which the winning pieces will be read and the publication will be placed on the shelf. The submission window will open on Thursday 2nd March, where students can find guidelines, and there is an information drop-in in the Weston Library Space for Reading between 4pm and 5pm on Thursday 2nd March for anyone who needs more information.
