Oxford SU’s Michaelmas Term Card brings together events, opportunities, support and ways to get involved in student life across Oxford.
With Oxford’s collegiate structure, it is not always easy to know what is happening beyond your college or department. The Term Card provides one place to discover opportunities, meet students from across the University and find out where to go when you need support.
It also introduces the different ways you can have a say in your experience at Oxford. Student representation is how students’ views and experiences are brought into the decisions that affect them. This can include issues relating to your education, welfare, community or wider student experience. Oxford SU works with student representatives, Common Rooms and student communities to make sure these perspectives reach the University and colleges.
This term, you can get involved through Representative Committees, the Conference of Common Rooms, elections and academic representation. The Term Card also highlights practical support available through Oxford SU, including independent SU Advice, the SU Pantry, Gender Expression Fund and the Bike Theft Support Scheme.
Whether you are looking for an event, want to meet people beyond your college, need support or have an issue you want to raise, the Term Card is a useful starting point for finding your way around student life at Oxford.
