Founded and run by students, OWLSS aims to promote gender equality and greater diversity in the legal sector. Our main goal is to provide all of our members with the resources they need to succeed in their legal careers, regardless of their background and at any point in their journey in the sector. Our society runs access initiatives to support prospective students from underrepresented backgrounds. It also works closely with current students looking for career development opportunities and securing graduate recruitment. We collaborate with the Oxford Women in Law alumni network to source speakers, mentors, and opportunities, and run a range of panels, career workshops, mentoring opportunities and social events across the year!
