Oxford Blue is a marine biology and conservation society new this year. The society's aim is to inform and empassion students about the marine realm and inspire them to become ambassadors of the underwater world.
The society's activities includes talks by specialists from diverse fields within marine biology. Oxford Deep Blue also acts as a platform for members to present their own scientific interests, by offering members opportunities to present their own research and develop their ideas alongside peers and professionals.
The society runs trips outside Oxford, as well as advertising opportunities external to the University, allowing for a more holistic view of the current state of marine exploration and conservation.
Oxford Deep Blue holds and advertises fundraising and other charitable opportunities so that members can support marine conservation efforts locally and internationally.
