Music - Capoeira is a Brazilian art form that mixes dance, music, fight, and folkloric traditions. It is characterized by agile and complex movements following the music of the "bateria" (orchestra).
The bateria is usually formed by berimbau (arch), atabaque (drum), pandeiro (tambourine), reco-reco (rattle) and agogo (bell).
