We have put together a collection of resources for students to better understand how they can support work to prevent homelessness in Oxford and how to provide support to people currently homeless.

If you see somebody sleeping rough or are worried about a person experiencing homelessness

In an emergency, or if they’re under 18 contact 999

If it’s not an emergency, contact Streetlink at 0300 500 0914 as they take referrals 24/7 and will ensure the information gets to the local homelessness outreach team. You can also make a referral online at streetlink.org.uk (you just have to make an account which takes less than a minute!)

Direct them to St Mungos - outreach.oxford@mungos.org or 07590862049 - this is the local homelessness outreach team who work 6 days a week (not 24/7) and helps people experiencing homelessness find the support and accommodation they need

Porch - providing day long support

Gatehouse - provides food, drink, clothing, counselling and showering service for adults experiencing homelessness
