"We are a student branch of Engineers Without Borders, an international development organization that removes barriers to development through engineering and is part of a global movement to engineer a better future. Since we established in 2014 we have been dedicated to tackling poverty and improving social mobility using engineering. We aim to provide opportunities for members of the Oxford community, including non-engineering students, to partake in research projects that tackle poverty using engineering. In the past we have hosted a wide range of projects that allow for such development from building water infrastructure to medical software development. In 2021-2022 we are running 5 projects: Youth Outreach, Biodesign for Bladder Incontinence, Landmine Detection using Robotics, Machine Learning and Sustainability. More information on us, as well as the list of past and current projects can be found at this link: https://www.ewbox.org"
